Lorelai's Jesus Fish Mobile
I stumbled upon this awesome “Jesus Fish” craft from Catholic Icing and knew immediately that we were going to do it today. Lorelai jumped on board when she saw how colorful and pretty the craft is. Unfortunately, since I find glitter to be a pain in the rear, we don’t have many colors. We went the glitter glue route instead. I popped the tops off of the tubes and she used her thin paintbrushes to paint the glitter glue on. Also, instead of the cardstock topping for the mobile, I used a leftover paper plate (from our olympic rings craft) with the inside hollowed out. We also taped the string to the paper plate, as well as inside the fish, to minimize the amount of string showing.
Materials We Used:
- 2 Toilet Paper Rolls
- Scissors
- Glitter Glue (or glitter and glue)
- 1 Paper Plate
- Hole Punch (optional)
- String
- Colored Pencils/Crayons (optional)
